These girls have been in 4 weddings in the last 6 months. I love to see them dress up for the occasion and I get to get new dresses. Kylie's wedding was zebra and red. It turned out really cute. Everyone is just getting ready for the ceremony. Mom with the twins.

Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go. The truck knows the way cause we been here so much thru the white and drifted snow... oh! There is much to be grateful for this holiday season.

Thanksgiving day we were just coming off the turn of to go to Tabiona and right before we came to the stop sign a vehicle was t-boned by a semi going full speed. It struck the car on the drivers side and there were people still inside the car when we pulled up. Riley got out to help the people and when he came back to the truck he said " Honey it doesn't look good, we need to get some blankets to keep the passengers warm until the ambulance comes. I ran to the horse trailer to get some blankets and brought them over to the car. I could hear someone screaming for Stewart - that's when Riley realized it was his cousin from American Fork. I took the blankets to them to keep warm but I froze. I didn't know what to do. It was a panic situation and I just froze. Looking back I wish I too would have called 9-1-1. They could have walked me thru something to help the others. I had to leave and stay with the girls in the truck.

Riley was helping and stayed with them. I called up to mom and dad's house because we were the last ones to get there (surprise) and told them the news. They came down and called Aunt Nadine. It was a sad day and made me realize how precious life is. My heart goes out to those who have lost loved ones.

Riley and I left that night to go to the Black Friday deals. (It was more to try to process this scene that we had witnessed and look to each other for comfort. We hardly said a word the entire drive back to Provo - After we went shopping, we talked about the accident and tried to help each other through seeing what we saw. The two in the front seat, Stu and his daughter passed away at the scene. The other three were life flighted to the hospital in Salt Lake City. It was good for us to be together because people kept asking us what we saw and I didn't want to keep describing it over and over. I was glad we left for a little while.

When we got back the next day the kids were with the family getting a christmas tree.

Joni wanted to wear a headband and be a princess. It ended up over her eyes by the time we stopped to help the Lewis family. So cute.

This was on the side of the road and there were still people inside. (should I even have this picture?!)
The truck driver couldn't do much but he ran the truck up the mountain. I think he was still in shock when we came to talk to him to see if he needed help. He wasn't hurt.

Maile looked so cute in daddy's snow pants. She just had to come out in the snow to help get the Christmas tree.

The girls got horses for their birthday again. Pretty soon Riley is going to get them real horses. (we are not ready for that yet)
Maile wanted to come and play with us but we didnt have the snow clothes with us... so she was carried around like a fish.

Making our ginger bread house was fun. Joni was so cute and very particular of where each candy should be placed. Maile just wanted to use everything and get it on the house somewhere. Riley and I made a deck on the side of the house. Good old fashion fun.

Christmas morning! Looking to see what Santa brought them. They were excited but didn't quite understand everything. I am sure it will be different next year. I cant wait!!

Maile and Joni love their grandma Jo! We do too! They are always so excited when I ask them if they want to go to grandma's. If they are crying or throwing a fit, I will say "Do you want to go to grandma's?" They stop crying and then say "Yeah! A - Go to grandmas"

Maile and Joni both got up on the wake board. Riley was just going to pull us for a second, but then we just stood up. Maile was so scared, Joni soaked up ever second of it. I really DO WANT A BOAT, but not until I'm a millionaire.

Ask Maile who the presedent of the USA is and she will say OBAMA. So cute! She also knows the leader of our church. (she does it for the reaction - she is such a ham!)
Joni has to sleep with all her toys. She is always taking stuff with her where ever we go. I put curlers in her hair for the first time and it looked so cute! I forgot to take a picture of it when it was all done and pretty.
Aunt Ralaina and family brought up a kitchen for the play house and a car for the girls. They LOVE it and spend a lot of time outside now. I don't know what we will do in the winter. . .

24th in Escalante

Poor Kevin and Jeanne! They broke down on the way home. We all stopped to see if we could help, but they ended up towing it home.
Here is Mom and Joni outside the Escalante Church. I have really come to appreciate the sacrifices that those have made before us. I truly felt the spirit while attending church on the 25th. I really missed my grandpa too and when we sang the song Carry On - it touched a lot of hearts in our family. I love my family!

These guys are great jumpers! I cant believe how old they are getting. So independent. It's bitter sweet to watch them grow up and learn more about life.

Joni always has a cute cheese smile. Now when I say "say cheese!" she will say Cheese bug! I don't know where she got that. But this little girl just loves bugs. When the girls go outside Maile will go play on the neighbors toys and Joni will go look for bugs.

Joni did not get bucked off this bull, she was even riding with her hand in the air. I thought Maile was going to be the rider but Joni seems like she liked the thrill -
Maile was so nervous. She actually fell off onto the red cushion and looked at me like "MOM! I can't believe that you let me fall!?"
I probably should have caught her but for some dumb reason I thought she would have fun falling. (She didn't understand that it's ok to fall and that's what you are supposed to do)
OK so I can't even match these pictures up - so play the matching game.
All it all a good time was had by all!

I have never ever seen a small little horse colt / baby. It was so weird. This thing looked like a normal size dog. It was kinda cool!

Grandpa

Grandpa passed away a few weeks ago. It's been a while since I have been this sad. Even though I know he is in a better place I just feel the loss of my grandpa. I have always felt I have had a special bond with my grandpa and I have never really been able to really bond with a father figure. Grandpa was the exception. He was always willing to be there for me, even if he didn't think that I was doing the right thing. Grandpa taught me how to fish, how to ride a bike and work hard for things that I wanted. He helped me get my first car! I really miss him.
The day of the funeral I asked Grandma if I could come and say my good-byes by myself because I needed some closure and I wanted to be with Grandpa one last time on this earth before everyone else came to say goodbye. It was a good experience for me. I played Clair Delune (I am not sure of the spelling) for him one last time. Grandma taught me how to play that a few years ago. I originally wanted to learn it because I knew it was my grandpa's favorite song, and he loved to hear it played. I am glad I had the chance to say good bye. My girls were so cute at the funeral. They loved great-grandpa! They would go up and sit on his lap and give him kisses. Right before they closed the casket Joni leaned over and gave him a kiss and said "Bye-Bye Grandpa."
I know I have felt grandpa's love and comfort since his death and I know that I will be able to see him again through the plan of salvation. I am so grateful to have this gift of knowledge. Spring Time

Scripture Study

Just wanted to throw some random pics in. This was actually 1 year ago! They grow up way too fast! This is Joni

So in my journey to get in spiritually shape ( I have been distracted now and then) (but that's like with any excerise plan right?! ) I have found out some great thing in the Book of Morman that I never knew before.

1. There is humor in the BOM - it's in Alma (it's not hilarious but it's an attempt)

2. The SWORD OF LABAN was and is in the Hill Camorah waiting. It was there when Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdry went to replace the plates. Joseph Smith didnt translate all the plates he had, there was a portion of them sealed.

3. Nephi describes Christopher Columbus 2000 years before he was even born. Christopher Columbus was a man of god and was lead by the Holy Ghost. He even said that in Columbus' journal.

a. There were other people that discovered America (Norseman, Arabians, Japaneese and Irish but none of them made lasting settlements. Want to know why? Read 2 Nephi 1:6-8 - The whole chapter is awesome. I really liked how Lehi made a point to give blessings to Zoram (Laban's slave that gave them the plates and came with Lehi's family) I kind of wondered if I was a decendent of Zoram or Lehi... I guess that's something I will have to look into. :)

I have had a hard time really studying the scriptures and I think it's because I have just read them in order instead of truly studied them. I got this cool study guide and Deseret Book and it's a lot more interesting. I feel like a treasure hunter - like in those movies - and it's actually kind of exciting. I know it's a little nerdy but I like it.

I wanted to write something about my findings over the past few weeks, it's way easier to type than write these days. So sorry that I dont have recent pics on here. I keep forgetting to charge my battery on my camera so I can get them off.

Friday we had a girls night out and I had a chance to go to dinner with my girls from High School. We had a great time catching up and talking - after a few of us went to the Temple. It was awesome to be there with my friends. How great of a girls night is that? Thanks to Jaci for putting that all together. It was just what I needed.

There were all sorts of reasons why we couldn't have gone to the temple - but like I said "What things are keeping me away from being truly happy?" They are not evil but distracting. I mean I was even temped not to go to the temple because I didn't get a good parking spot. (I actually thought about driving away * because I was going to be late for the session Jaci, Lonette and Leslie were going to. I said a little prayer that I would make it in time to go to the session with them. I knew it was a long shot (freezing time and all) but I had faith and when I was coming in the Temple I saw them and we actually got to all go together to the later session. So although time didn't freeze the Lord still heard me and I was able to be with my best girls in the Temple.

So all in all it's been a good work-out, I was a little lazy however, and could have done better and I will do better. I know this is the true gospel and I know it makes me happy.

Random Thoughts

I have been thinking a lot about the things I am doing, and I wonder to myself are these things making me happy? What is happy? I don't ever feel like I am doing anything "wrong" per say but I do think I could do a lot more to bring myself closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love listening to conference, I love to feel the spirit when great men and women of God speak to us. It's hard to slow down in this busy life and sometimes I wonder if these things that are not "wrong/evil" things are keeping me from being truly happy.

I know that when I truly search the Scriptures and give heartfelt prayers my life seems less stressful and I seem to have more patients with people. (mostly my own children) I am going to challenge myself to get back in shape with the spirit of God. That means I need to do more strength training and conditioning. Just like the 1/2 marathon Rochelle says I am running with her. ( I am scared out of my mind to do that BTW...) I have to be in shape to take on more of the scriptures.

I want to be the good mother and example that my girls look to for comfort and understanding. Actions speak louder than words so I have to start now by doing the things I know will bring me and my family closer to Heavenly Father. I hope to bring good reports of "spirit building" and getting back in shape. :)

Riley and Joni this morning. We missed Daddy this weekend when we went to Logandale to visit Rochelle and her family. They had so much fun playing with the kids and all their toys. Now I am looking for some toys for them to play with. The cars, a trampoline, and cars and cards. Thanks Rochelle and Matt for taking care of us. We had a fun weekend!

Valentines Day

We were on our annual Pinnacle Management Retreat. It was in St George and we all had a good time. We stayed in a sweet house with a pool and hot tub. Here we are just chilling after our boxing matches.
We all ate dinner together. It was a good steak dinner. Thanks to Sharon who is the best cook!
This is what I woke up to on Valentines Day. Riley was so sweet and it was a good Valentines. the only thing missing were my babies!
We had a little Valentines Day celebration with the girls before we left. They both got silver horse necklaces. They loved them. I think Joni may have ate her horse, but They loved them. It was fun to see them show each other their neckless.
What a cutie. They grow up so fast. It feels like I was just holding the tiny babies in the hospital. It's so cute - I'll ask them "Who's a cutie pie?" they both raise their hands and say "ME!!" I love having these sweet girls. It makes my life worth while. :)

January is all over

Boy seems like January was a long month - and at the same time it flew by. We all were sick - with mono. It was a long time before we all felt better. We are better now thank goodness. I go to the doc on Wednesday to see how my wrist is healing.
The girls love their new sunglasses. Even though they got ranch all over them.
OK so having Riley help me with my hair really sucked. AND I couldn't even touch my hair because of my cast. So I decided to go get it braided. I paid $380 bucks at this place in Provo and they SUCKED so bad. Don't go to Giani International. Can I just count the ways they suck?

1. I went in for a consultation BEFORE I got my hair done and he quoted me 3 hours.

2. The day of the appointment they tried to cancel on me 20 minutes before my appointment. (I had already found a baby-sitter and taken work off) So that was upsetting. I asked if there was anyone else that could do it. They finally told me to come back in and

3. He was 20 minutes late to the appointment.

4. Geo just got any random person to braid my hair. 2 of them were not even stylists!

5. I told him I wasn't happy with it and they said sorry we cant help you fix it until next week.

6. Then they called me 20 minutes before my "fix" appointment and cancelled. Tried to reschedule a week later!

7. I called to see what arrangements we could make because I DIDNT HAVE TIME to finish my hair. He won't return my calls!

8. I feel dumb for even paying him, but after 7 hours (not 3) I just wanted to get out of the salon.

New Years

So I broke my wrist. I have a huge cast on my arm clear up to my bicep/tricep. I have really come to find out that I use my wrist more often than not. Riley has really tried to helped out. I cant even do my own hair. He tries to help but it's pretty sad. (my hair that is)

It all started on New Years Day. I was at home cleaning up and trying to put away the Christmas decorations and Riley came thru the door and said he wanted me to come out side. "I have to show you something!" he says. So I went outside in my slippers and pajamas and there was a giant black horse (Grace) with a saddle on her. She is about 17.5 hands tall and huge! She has never really been rode, so I think that was the first time she has ever had a saddle on. She seemed a little nervous but calmed down when I started to pet her. Riley suggested I get on her so I said, " I'm not scared - but I can't because I am in my jammies (wink, wink)."

"Oh come one, let's see what she will do, just step in the stirrup - I'll hold her."

Little did I know that she already bucked Riley off, thats why he was a little scared of her.... So you know me, always trying to please others, I get on the horse. Next thing I know, I am getting thrown in the air, I tried to push back and jump off but by that time the horse had come down on her back legs and slipped on the cement in our driveway. I fell on her legs and tried to catch my fall and then.... OH SNAP I broke my wrist.

I am a grown women with a bright pink cast. It's hideous. I cant do my hair, pick up both my girls at the same time, or even wash the dishes but at least its not my right hand and I don't have to be on crutches. But I am not gonna lie. IT SUCKS!

This is my little niece Zoei Marie. She was born at 29 weeks and she fought to live. She is now a healthy beautiful little girl. What a fantastic addition to our family. I love you Zoei, thanks for fighting!

I just watched Biggest Loser and I totally felt like a loser. I mean who eats and watches the biggest loser?! I have not lost any weight this week, I was "too busy" but like they say on the show, you need to invest in yourself. So I wont give up. I wanted to take time for the little things in life. I get too caught up in my own world. I missed jury duty this week and now I am being summoned to court. If that's not a wake up call... So this week my goals are:

1. Be more in-tune with myself and the Lord

2. Make dinner at least once this week (before Riley gets home)

3. Read something from the November Ensign every day.

4. Do something nice for someone else (Find someone to serve)

Happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for my family and friends!

Flashback Sunday's - - - 2007

Ok so a few years ago my best friend Rochelle and I did the Triathlon in St. George. I was in pretty good shape back then but I still thought I was "fat". If only I could be in that shape again. I am working on it though. Since my last post I have lost 5 pounds. 15 to go. I gotta get my motivation back. Rochelle! I need your help! You have been my inspiration for a while. I am glad you will be back in the game again. :) Congrats on your new baby girl! When is our next adventure?

The girls were tired after all that Trick-or Treating. They were so good at my work, but I was having a hard time keeping track of them so I put them on a chair and they loved it.
I had a lot of fun this year with the girls. They were so cute! Holiday's seem fun with these guys. Maile was so cute. When we went Trick or Treating she was holding her own bag, she didn't want me to carry her, she wanted to do it all by herself. She was so cute! (Joni was asleep for part of the time but they both got up and had a great time.

We didn't get to carve any pumpkins this year. I was a little sad cause we always try to carve a pumpkin. We were so busy with work etc, we didn't have time. It seems like the time is flying by so fast right now. Sometimes I wish I could slow things down a bit. It seems like we are always going 100mph and I forget about the small important things that I need to make time for.

I want to try to lose 20 pounds by Christmas. I think that is a very attainable goal, but it means I have to work a lot harder that I am now. (which means doing SOMETHING) I miss my clothes, and I want to be able to wear them again. Wish me luck because there are so many things that could keep me from doing it.

Riley gave them their first horse. They love these. Maile gets on and off all by her self. She seems to be a natural on a horse. Joni is so cute. She will get on the horse and bob her head like she is riding it. It's so fun to see them grow up.
The Taylor family gave them a tinker bell table. We had a tea party on Sunday. It was fun!
My nieces did a hula for the girls' birthday party. They did a great job! Look how cute the costumes are. Thanks to Mona and Sharon for the great costumes and teaching it to them.

The girls are having a birthday party luau. It's going to be a fun celebration. We get to celebrate the lives that bring us so much happiness. The twins are having a birthday luau on October 10 2009. The Lake Trip

This is our adventure ride. This was as exciting as a roller coaster and defiantly as scary as one!

These girls are getting rough with each other, but neither of them seem to mind. I had to catch it on video.(I have tried to upload the best video 5 different times but it didn't work. This is the only thing I could get uploaded) They were having so much fun wrestling each other. Joni would come and tackle Maile, Maile would laugh and then sit on Joni. How lucky they are to have each other. How luck we are to have both of them. They bring entertainment!

We (the girls and I) went to Lake Powell the last week. It was the coolest vacation ever! I really want to do that every year just like my cousins do. They have a blast.

Right after Lake Powell we drove up to help Judd move his cows on the mountain. It was a lot of fun, it rained quite a bit, but we were roughing it! Riley was the cook, the supplier, the clean up crew and the "gatherer". He loves to help.

The Muddy

Matt on Dan and Ralaina on Badger and Jack packing the camp. This was on our way out and just getting on the trail back to the trucks.
Riley loves his pack rides. We slept under the stars. It was really a fun trip, the only thing missing was my girls. The stars were beautiful, the weather was awesome, the company was fanatic and the food was delicious.
I'm still not used to that hair. It is a really pretty color, but I am not thinking that it looks good on me. I liked the change but what next?
This is our camp spot. We walked in took us 1/2 a day to get there and we set up camp then went exploring a little more before we cooled off in the muddy. Let's just say we were glad it was muddy this once!

I got a stroller for mother's day. The girls love it. They love being outside and it's good because I need to get some excerise. We ran up to the Hanna store when we went to Tabby. They had a good time. It is so beautiful up there. I love it this time of year.

Swimming with the Girls

We took our girls swimming for the first time. They were unsure about the water. Both of them tried to lay down like they do in the tub but they got confused when they couldn't feel the bottom of the tub. It was so much fun watching them explore new things. I love to see them grow. It's so bitter sweet to see them grow up and get more independent. They change so fast, pretty soon I'll be stressed out helping them do their science project the night before it's due. I just need to remember to take a breath and enjoy the ride! It seems to be flying by.

Joni could have cared less! She was a little upset when we woke her up to take pictures.

She kept looking away when she was smiling. (Like she was shy or something) We had them laying on their tummies for the picture, and Joni put her arm around Maile. It was so cute! I had to get that picture. Don't I have the most beautiful twin girls?! (It must run in the family!)

Why I diet...

Doesn't it just suck that you have to diet?! Sometimes (most of the time) I wish I could eat what ever I want and work out and have a hot bod! In reality that does not exist. So I decided to try the HCG diet. It's been hard, but I have lost 9 pounds. It just seems like I lost most of it the first week and now it's like pulling teeth to get any more pounds off. I am going to try to do the low carb thing for a while after this. I just hope blogging about it will help me with this constant battle. Wish me luck!!

Shopping in Vegas. Seemed like a good idea at the time...

This was our first store, I was ready to go after that. I guess it's not that fun shopping when you can't find anything that fits.

Riley was so tired! He hadn't slept for 3 days straight! Who does that?!

We loved the van. I am not getting one if I can help it. But the rental wasn't that bad. We rented a Toyota Senia and we drove to Vegas.

This is the house we stayed in. It was about 7 miles away from the strip. It was cheaper than a hotel and we had a lot more fun there. I have a great management team. I am so excited to have a strong team that gets a long so well. I am lucky to have such a good team. We even hang out when we don't have to. Our spouses are great friends as well. It's really not something that happens that often. We had a great time but I MISSED MY GIRLS SO MUCH!

Shawn and Sarah came over last week end and their girls were making my girls laugh. It was so cute! I think they want a little brother tho, that's what Gracie was telling me.

I have so much fun with my girls. We had almost the whole day to play on Saturday (minus an hour and a half to go ride our horses out by the air port). They are growing up so fast! I know I say that a lot but it seems like they grow every day. It's like I go get them from the sitter and I say, did you get bigger while I was at WORK?!!

Joni is my sweet smiler. She always has a big smile for mommy - even when she is hungry. If Maile is hungry there is no way you are getting a smile from her. It's so cool to see what personalities they show each day. They take their turns being fussy, it's like they tell each other, ok I am done, your turn. But at least they are not both fussy all the time right?

I was asked to write something for the ward's history. This is what I sent in:
Our Little Miracles
The Lord finds ways to make you stronger and happier by giving you trials and hardships. I know this because I have had a few trials that I thought (at the time) were too hard for me. It took us 6 years, a ton of medication, adoption rollercoaster’s, bad doctors, and lots of tests, patients and prayers to have our beautiful twin girls. Maile Jo and Joni May Roberts – Born October 9, 2008.
Throughout this trial I knew that Heavenly Father loved us and that he was teaching me patients. It broke my heart to see everyone around me having a family and me knowing that it was “wasn’t my time”. He knew when we were ready for our family, even though we thought we were ready that whole time, He knew better. The Lord has definitely blessed us with the strength to endure and the patients to wait for the most amazing blessing in our lives. (My family) I love my Heavenly Father and know that thru prayer trials are made easier. The Holy Ghost is the comforter. It is a wonderful gift from our loving Father in Heaven.
I am grateful for the knowledge of the plan of salvation and the peace it brings to my mind and heart. I know Jesus is the Savior of the world and thru him all mankind can be saved from sin and sorrow. You need to let him help you, give up your trials and know that you are given trials for strength and understanding because sometimes, that’s the only way He can get thru to us.
Be loving, be happy and remember that Heavenly Father knows your mind and your desires. As long as you acknowledge his hand in all things and have righteous desires, Heavenly Father will bless you with the blessings you are entitled to. I love this gospel and love my Savior and say these things in His name. Amen.

Ok so who is supposed to remember the camera at Christmas? We had our very first Christmas with our little girls and I forgot to take pictures all day! I did get a few. These are the only ones.

Here are the girls in their new jump suits that Aunt Talya and Uncle Alan bought for them. They also have the horses that Aunt Becca and Uncle Jesse bought them and the cute toys that Aunt Stephy and Uncle Mark got them. Maile was already smiling at the toys. This is Grandpa Folau with Joni and Sefa at our house for Christmas dinner. He was so proud of his suit that he wore in high school. They wore it when they were at the Parliament and will wear it when he gets together for a reunion.

Well Saturday we had a good time at the Pinnacle Security year end party. I was awarded the Ideal employee of the year award. It was the highest award given to a corporate employee. (so I was told) and they gave me a 40' plasma TV. It was a good night, they had some good prizes they gave away: snowmobiles, plasma TVs, xbox 360's, playstations, iPods and a bunch of other stuff

It was over the river and thru the woods to grandmothers house we went. The Roberts family Thanksgiving was at Grandma Bonnie's house. It was filled with a lot of food and fun. I think I gained like 5 lbs in one weekend. There was so much good food to eat and for some reason when I don't cook it, I eat a lot more. (note to self COOK EVERYTHING).

My cousin Lisa asked me to send her the story of how Riley and I met. It was fun to remember. I am posting what I sent her for a fun little trip down memory lane. I love you Ry!

How Riley met Kristina:
Riley and I met in Pleasant Grove on January 26 2002. One of my friends and I were really bored and on Saturday night and decided to go country dancing. We were just checking out the people there when Jesse (Riley’s brother) and Sam (Riley’s friend) asked us to dance. Jesse told me a little about himself and then told me he was here with his little brother.
“That’s your brother?!” I asked. He was so fine! So Jesse and I decided that we were going to play a trick on him. Jesse told me all about him. Where he worked, what he did for a living and where he went on his mission. Then I went up to him and this was our conversation:
“Riley? Riley Roberts is that you? I asked
“Yeah.” He said surprised
“You don’t remember me do you?”
“Should I?” He asked so puzzled.
“Yeah we’ve talked, you said that you worked and UTBA phone company and you go to USU extension in Roosevelt. I am in your institute class with Brother Madsen. I sit on the front row.” I just blurted that out it wasn’t planned. I knew that Mike Madsen was the institute teacher in Roosevelt, I just took the chance that he was in institute. Riley just stood there with this puzzled look on his face.
“Well sorry for bugging you I thought I would just say hi.” As I began to walk away Riley just looked at me and said:
“Wait!... Yeah, I think I remember you. Yep I remember.”
I just started to laugh. “No you don’t, I was playing with you the whole time. Jesse and I talked before I came up to you. I gave him a complement in Portuguese he looked confused once again. I just kept teasing him all night but, by the time we left the dance hall, I had decided to let him ask me for my number.
Later that night we all went to Denny’s in American Fork. Jesse was still hitting on me, and Riley wasn’t saying a thing! Jesse won me a little stuffed animal out of the quarter machines. That was nice, I thought, but I wanted Riley to do SOMETHING. And still nothing, not until I mentioned a recipe I had made in a crock-pot. Then he asked me to marry him, he was kidding of course. Later I found out he told Sam that night that he wanted to marry someone like me. Anyway, it was getting towards the end of the night, and Riley still hadn’t asked me for my number. I was stalling and trying to hint to him that I was waiting for him to ask me! He finally asked me for my number as I was closing the door of my car to go home. Although he didn’t call me for 3 weeks whole weeks, it was well worth the wait. He told me later that he didn’t dare call me because he thought that I was way out of his league. (I thought it was so cute)

Last week we went to the doctor and they measured the babies. They measured them at 7lbs, 5 oz and 6lbs 15oz. Fluid looked good and so they sent me home saying I just wasn't ready. Needless to say I was miserable! I was angry that I had to suffer another week before they checked me again. Well I went to the doctor today and he said we can do an amino on Wednesday and if the lungs are ready I'll be in the hospital at 5am on Thursday morning. I really hope they are ready, I AM!! Get this: Doctor says that I can plan on loosing 25lbs at time of delivery! (that's not counting all the fluid I am carrying in my legs.
All I can say is I am happy I had the chance to be pregnant, but I am even more excited to meet my girls!! :)

Wedding Day

Here we are coming out of the Temple to embark on our new life together. Look How little we are! We had a great anniversary. We didn't do a lot just spent some quality time together planning our next year's anniversary. This year we went to dinner and I couldn't even fit behind the table they sat us at. We talked all night and went for a walk just spending time together was fun for us.

I can't believe we have been married 6 years. It's flown by. It seems like we were just up the canyon taking our engagement pictures.

Riley and I have had the best of times and the worst of times, but all in all we have learned and become closer than ever. He is my best friend.

I am so happy that I have had this opportunity to get to know my husband and be us before our girls/children came. It's been a long road to get pregnant, but I think the Lord knew what he was doing.

I am so happy to have found a great husband! I am lucky! He does try to be a good husband and I know that consciously makes an effort to make me happy. I love him so much more today than I ever thought was possible. Happy Anniversary Riley! Here is to MANY MANY more!

I am coming up on 29 weeks on Wednesday. It's getting so close! I am so excited. Riley and I went shopping this weekend and we got our nursry all set up. (well kind of) I am still a little unsure of what I need to get but I will figure it out sometime right?!
Doctor says that I was measuring full term for a singleton pregnancy 3 weeks ago. NICE I still have a couple of months left. Now people (people I dont even know) come up to me, touch my belly and say any day now right? - I have to either say yes and keep going or explain that I am having twins. But long story short I am BIG, and if the doc didnt say that I would feel "full term" for three months, how would I know the diffrence? Now I just feel bad for my self.

There are always good fireworks after the rodeo down in Escalante, but this year we were all given glow sticks. We put a lot of them together and made a jump rope. I would have totally been in on the jump rope, too bad I couldn't get out of my chair.

Riley went in for hernia surgery on Wednesday July 22. He was a real trooper! We went to the hospital at 6am and we were out of there by 2pm. He got really sick from the pain pills, we were driving home and I kept thinking he was going to spew. I kept saying "Riley are you going to throw up?!" He said no I am fine. Right after that he threw up all over the car door (and some out in the gutter) Reminded me of the time that we were in the van on our trip to Nauvoo . He has been in a lot of pain. I just hope he gets better soon so we are so crippled together!

25 weeks

25 weeks! I am done being pregnant. (Ok not really) but seriously I miss having my body, working out, and moving around normally. My feet are swollen and my butt is bigger but I wouldnt trade it. I am so excited for these babies!! I am getting more and more anxious to see them hold them and kiss them.

I walked the Freedom Festival 5k with my mom. I wanted to go faster (call me competitive) but my mom wouldn't let me. It's a good thing that my mom came because I might have pushed a little too hard. I was excited to do the 5k with my mom. It was some quality time that I loved. My mom is a great sport. I love you mom! Check out my new scooter. It gets great gas milage and it's fun. I have wanted one since I was little. I got one!

We had a lot of fun at the Provo pool. Riley and Matt and Ralaina were helping Judd move his cows so Summer, Jeanne, Alan, Talya, Dallas, Hadden, Jaben and I went swimming.

We went swimming. My frist time in a maternity swimsuit and can I just say does it seem like everyone is pregnant? There were so many of us there with a bun in the oven. Too bad I am the one taking the pics and not in them... :)
